Communities
Closer to the people around you
A SORDA community is a group tied to a real place — your street, estate, market, campus or town — where neighbours talk, share and look out for each other.
📸 Photo posts
Share moments, clean-up days, events and finds. Public posts can appear in nearby feeds.
📣 Announcements
Group leaders post announcements and events that reach members and people near the community's area.
📍 A real place
Each community has a centre point and a coverage radius from 100 metres up to 50 kilometres.
🔓 Public or private
Public communities can be found by anyone nearby. Private ones are for invited members and join requests.
🛡️ Moderated
Members can report messages; moderators and group admins remove what breaks the guidelines.
Reach the right people
Announcements that land where they matter
When something is announced for an area, SORDA reaches members of public communities inside that area and people who follow an overlapping place — not the whole country.
- A water cut in one ward reaches that ward.
- An event at the market reaches the market's neighbours.
- People who follow a place stay informed even if they live elsewhere.
